
Catherine Jane Ford was born on 5th December 1969. She is an English actor and comedian. She has been awarded numerous prizes for her involvement in the BBC sketch comedy series The Catherine Tate Show (2004-2007) as well as getting nominated for an International Emmy Award and seven BAFTAs. Tate was Donna Noble in Doctor Who's Christmas special 2006. She was then back in her role as the Tenth Doctor's frequent companion in the fourth season. [2] After the huge success of The Catherine Tate Show, Tate starred as Joanie Taylor ("Nan") in the BBC One comedy series Catherine Tate's Nan (2009-2015) and in the film The Nan Movie (2022). In the year 2011, Tate began playing the role of Nellie Bertram on The Office, the U.S. version of The Office which was an ongoing character until the show was cancelled. The role she played was Miss Sarah Postern on BBC One's sitcom Big School (2013)-2014 and Magica De Spell on DuckTales (2017-2021). Tate was in six roles on Hard Cell, the Netflix comedy show she co-wrote as well as directed.
